Hey! awesome pic! I use paint tool SAI aswell and i was wondering how you do that choppy shadeing effect? Do you have a custom brush or something? I think it looks awesome and i'd definately want to give it a try.

I basically just cell shade as seen here :thumb343612119: but i think your effect is better.

...I'm not sure what you mean by choppy effect but all I can say is that practically everything was made by hand with the simple pen tool by default, I'm kinda noob at the program so I don't know how to apply different brushes ): You could watch the progress video linked in the description so you get an idea of how I do it though!

I meant like in stead of just a solid black for the shadows yours is comprised of lines at the edges, doesnt sound like theres a secret to it from your response though hahaha maybe ill just give it a try :p cheers! (btw wukong is on this weeks free rotation, just played him yesterday ';D haha)

No worries :D Yeah, you should read it. It's quite good...Hehe, yeah it is very hard to find, but really good. It's not like most modern novels and I like the way it mixes eastern mythology with morals. Great picture!
